Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 April 2026
1. Who we are
Munchly provides software and a marketplace that helps buyers discover and order from independent sellers ("Sellers") who offer home-prepared food for pickup. Munchly does not prepare food and is not a party to the sale of food between you and a Seller except as needed to operate payments and the platform.
2. The marketplace model
When you place an order, you contract with the Seller for the goods described in the listing. Munchly facilitates discovery, checkout, messaging features where available, and may route payments through third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). Sellers are independent businesses or individuals and are responsible for their listings, food safety communications, allergens, and compliance with applicable Singapore laws.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information. You may not misuse the service, interfere with other users, attempt to access non-public systems, or use Munchly for unlawful goods or services. Munchly may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for users or the platform.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by regulated payment partners (for example, Stripe). You agree to their terms where presented at checkout. Additional local payment methods may be offered; where they are, the checkout flow will describe how payment is confirmed.
5. Pickup and preorders
Unless a listing states otherwise, fulfilment is by self-pickup at arrangements shown in the order or listing. Preorders require you to select an offered pickup window where the product flow provides one.
6. Reviews and content
Reviews may only be available after a verified purchase. You grant Munchly a licence to host and display content you submit (such as reviews and profile information) as needed to operate the service. See the Community & content policy for unacceptable content.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Munchly does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Food-related risks are inherent in purchasing from independent Sellers; you are responsible for checking allergens and suitability before consumption.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Munchly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Munchly's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total platform fees Munchly earned on your transactions in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) SGD 100.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Singapore law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the service, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and Munchly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
10. Changes
Munchly may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice before they take effect — for example, an in-app notice or an email to the address on your account. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
